I have extensive experience teaching at the university, adult, and community education levels, working with over 800 students from diverse linguistic, academic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Over the years, I have held various teaching positions at UCLA, taught information literacy classes and scholarly communications-related workshops awithin the California Community College system, and have also worked in educational roles in community settings, including as a museum educator in England, an eyecare educator in Ghana, and a language instructor at a school for immigrants in Greece, among other.
I am broadly interested in teaching courses in scholarly communication, media and information theory, and the history and sociology of scientific knowledge.
